GREGORY MAYAKIN
I was born and raised in Rostov. After school, I served in the Russian Army’s Pacific Fleet, where I received the qualification and rank of Excellent Pupil of Military Service. I went on to graduate in “Hoisting and Transport Equipment and Robotics” at the prestigious Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
I have worked in: security systems, electronics, telecommunications, freight and transportation. I have also worked in my capacity as an engineer in satellite communications, electrical equipment, electronic components, and video surveillance / security at “SEA Electronics”. I also have experience as an entrepreneur, when I installed electrical equipment for the company LLC Elektrokomplex.
I have a technical education but also sales experience. I joined Albion Overseas in 2015. While working at Albion, I have traveled to both Russia and Europe, visited clients and their companies, consulted and participated in the installation of equipment, and participated in international exhibitions in China and Russia. I like to work with large international companies from the UK that have successfully established themselves in the business of manufacturing equipment for RTI companies, packaging equipment, and in the oil and gas, and engineering industries.
During business trips, I’ve visited the beautiful highlands of Scotland and made lots of unforgettable memories. My favorite places to travel are the islands of Corfu, Crete and beautiful mainland Greece. As the poet Sergei Yesenin eloquently put it, “Ah, Greece! The dream of my soul! You are a tender tale…”
