EAC or EuroAsian Conformity is the term used to indicate compliance in the EurAsian
Economic Union (EEU).
This economic bloc united Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan in a Customs union in summer, 2014. Kyrgyzstan and Armenia signed up at the end of that year (although Armenia has no common border, so Georgia has granted a free trade passage). Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan may also join, but no dates have been announced. Put simply, the aim is to create a bloc bigger than the USA, the EU or China.
As in most developed countries, certificates demonstrate that products comply with safety standards and are fit for purpose. The EAC mark cannot be placed on a product until certificates have been issued, usually following compliance checks, and in some cases, even factory visits.
